Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Dept of Chemistry, in 1998.
Has been working in publishing, translation and editing since 1998. Translated over 20 books, co-translated over 10 books; she’s a finalist of the Master Award (2013) and Nora Gal’ Award (2014) for her translations.
Recognize as the Executive Editor of the Year by “The Book Review” of Russia (2007).
Represented Russian Federation at the International Young Publishing Entrepreneur Award in London, with special commendation (2009).
Since 2009 Shashi has been the co-owner and creative director of Moscow indie-bookshops Dodo Magic Bookroom, and the portfolio advisor at Livebook Publishing.
Author of seminars on non-violent online and offline communication and conflict resolution, as well as on game approach to working and living.
